Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ

The bank of the IJ river houses one of the most imposing and architecturally cutting-edge structures in Amsterdam: the Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ. The expansive concert venue opened its doors in 2005 and holds a large concert hall and two smaller spaces including the Bimhuis. Because of its mission to be home to a wide array of genres and sounds, we were welcomed in 2013 to host our very first event there. Since then, the Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ has been an established and beloved destination in Audio Obscura’s yearly ADE program.
