Rembrandt’s De Nachtwacht became the starting point for a new artistic work by Jeff Mills, created and filmed inside the Rijksmuseum.
As part of ADE’s 30th anniversary, the resulting film will be unveiled to the public for the very first time — returning to the very space in which it was conceived.*
From Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 October, the 50-minute film will be presented three times a day in the Rijksmuseum auditorium.**
* ‘De Nachtwacht’ has since been restored, so appears slightly different in the film.
**This is a film screening, not a live performance or DJ set by Jeff Mills.
