A bit more about us
Audio Obscura’s mission from the start has always been to help electronic music transcend its traditional boundaries.
Having grown up within club culture, we went on a mission to push the artform into new spaces and contexts to help it to continue to evolve and reach new audiences. We see the idea of putting raves into spaces that were traditionally off-limits to club promoters as a revolutionary act in the battle to ensure that electronic music garners the respect, protection and support that it deserves.
The venues represent only one side of the story, however. Our commitment to putting the DJ at the centre stage of the event has helped to blur the lines between concert, rave, club and performance. Now as we expand our horizons across the world, we are excited about the prospect of entering new spaces and supporting new talents across the world, as well as creating dialogues between leading artists from across the world and their global audiences.
